I have the yongnuo and I would advise against them. They are very cheaply made. The battery doors on every unit broke and I have 4 of them. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. The strobist blog recommends the Photix Ares. I have ordered a couple of them. they have gotten very good reviews.
Beautiful! This just goes to show you don't need the most expensive camera and lens to get a great picture. You do however need to have some artistic ability which you obviously have!
Canon A95. Still have it and it takes good pictures, but I just couldn't live with the shutter lag. So I got a Nikon D40 which opened a whole new world to me.
What is the difference between advice and advise? Advice is a noun meaning "an opinion or recommendation offered as a guide to action". Advise is a verb meaning "to give a counsel to; offer an opinion" or "to give advice". Examples: Please give me your advice about what to do next. Please advise me about what to do next. Why do non-Nikon users feel the need to denigrate the people who use them? And not just Nikon users, any brand that people use. I don't feel the need to make disparaging remarks about Canon, Sony, Fuji users etc.. Does it make you feel superior? I just don't get it. That's one thing about this forum that I really find objectionable.
