Nicely done and an interesting shot, it even looks old.

Is there a chance of a re-post with the download option? I'd love to read the lower portion of the inscription.

Have a Happy New Year to follow your Leave!

Great image. Mono is perfect for this kind of scene.
But, um, who was Nancy K?

Great impact with the dark processing and perspective of old and forgotten tombstones. So good to see you, John!

Thank you, Angela. Your heartfelt comments always make my day. A Happy New Year to you and your family too. I'm unable to shoot enough to be a regular so my goal is to come up with something to post each of the seasons. My wife came up with he idea. I'm also going to try leaving a few comments here and there for a few old buddies like you.

Thanks for your positive comment, JCam. I never post downloads for personal reasons but you're not missing too much. This is a marker from the old Pilgrim cemetery in Plymouth MA. The writing on most of the headstones is so worn, it's difficult to decipher.

John, so glad you listened to your wife, that's what they're there for, to steer men in the right direction!! Loved seeing you on and thanks for your new year's wishes for me and my family... I do have news, 2017 will be extra special for my family, in June my little 2 year old grandson will be getting a baby brother!!
Take care my friend!!!

Thank you, Harry. This is a headstone in the old Pilgrim cemetery in Plymouth, MA. I enjoy spending time in many of the old New England cemeteries. Mary K has no particular historical significance but I thought the overall scene would make an interesting image.

Thank you, Linda. It's always nice to hear from old photo buddies. I'm no longer able to be a regular so my wife suggested I try to submit one image each of the four seasons. It's a good goal so I'm going to give it a try. I'm also going to try leaving occasional comments on the posts of old friends like you. Best wishes for a Happy New Year.

Thanks John! I watch Zachary 3 days a week and I must say, he keeps me laughing and going and going, so with two it will be double the fun!!
