Thank you. This is a great resource. Much appreciated.
I can't thank you enough. I'm so glad to be a fellow Hog. I've already printed out the manual.. Thanks again.

If you are familiar with "Smart Photo Editor" do you know if there is a comprehensive manual could you point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.
My only caution is that the Sony RX100 iii have removed their hot shoe in place of the built in EVF viewer. For me this is not a good trade off. I use off the camera flash with the aid of a remote trigger. With the iii model, you don't have this capability. With the previous models, you do have an EVF accessory for an additional cost. If off camera lighting is not important, it's a great camera. I use my ii everywhere I go.
I am not impressed with the upgraded version of the Sony DSC-100 series. As far as I can see there is only one significant change, i.e. ND built in filter. I think it was a design flaw to eliminate the hot shoe mount. This oversight prevents the use of remote trigger flash for creative lighting. I hope the next generation will be better thought out.
Thanks for a refreshing look using simple thinking.
The first image was a great shot. What p&s camera did you use and at what focal length? How close were you?
HI Jerry. I just put one in my cart to check out. Images were great. Thanks for sharing.
Would like to know the plug-in or app to do this. Anyone know?
I wouldn't know where to begin regarding how well it works. For my needs, I couldn't be more satisfied. I've lugged around heavy equipment most of my life and this is a welcomed relief with wonderful results.
Oh. I forgot to say how much I endorsed this camera, that I have two of them.
I have one also. All I can say is it's a great camera.
I understand and and share your sentiments. I wrestle with High ISO choices. Your image is great, however is your subject in good light? Have you tried to find the limits of your camera in low light and hand held? I think, that's the test.
