Is it the camera..shooting in raw..number of pictures taken..passion..can cell phones count? Do you have to sell a photo to be a 'professional'.the number of photos taken..I am very interested in what everyone's opinions are. Let's make this thread non-argumentative.

Imho, I believe a "professional" is someone who has an attitude of perfection, ----always striving for the very best--and always learning and helping and knowing that "photography is "objective"--you don't have to earn money to be a pro.

Recently I have been having dreams that are getting to me. Most involve guns of one kind or another. They are violent and I wake up scared. I am feeling depressed and irritable most of the time and don't care about much at all. Several times a day I feel my eyes watering. And I cant seem to stay awake for more than a few hours until I just have to take a nap, so I am not sleeping well at nights either. It was like this after I was discharged but then I knew the dreams were directly related to Vietnam. Just wondering if this is normal or if anyone else is experiencing something like this? The only thing I think that is keeping my sanity is my dog and my grand daughter. The VA says I don't have PTSD, but they have me on meds for depression.
Thanks everyone

All drugs have two names, a trade name and generic name.

Example, the trade name is Tylenol and its generic name is Acetaminophen... Aleve is also called Naproxen.

Amoxil is also called Amoxicillin and Advil is also called Ibuprofen.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra.

After careful consideration by a team of generic experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin.

Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

Pfizer Corp. announced today that Viagra will soon be available in liquid form, and will be marketed by Pepsi Cola as a power beverage suitable for use as a mixer..

It will now be possible for a man to literally pour himself a stiff one.

Obviously we can no longer call this a soft drink, and it gives new meaning to the names of 'cocktails’,'highballs' and just a good old-fashioned 'stiff drink'.

Pepsi will market the new concoction by the name of: MOUNT & DO.

Thought for the day: There is more money being spent on breast implants and Viagra today than on Alzheimer's research.

This means that by 2025, there should be a large elderly population with perky boobs and huge erections and absolutely no recollection of what to do with them.

I’m looking at Nikon’s AF-S TC-20E III teleconverter. Will use it on their AF-S 70-200 f2.8 lens. Anybody use a teleconverter? Any downside to them? I know I’ll use a couple stops. Will be in Wyoming and Yellowstone photographing wildlife.

If I can't see the detail in a picture I can't draw it..lol.. My goal is to be able to draw so realistic that the picture and the drawing are hard to tell apart. I joined this forum for the tips and tricks that will help me to be a better photographer.
