Mount to gatorboard with "french cleats" to make the lightest display method possible. It is available in 4'x8 sheets and almost never warps. Any large format lab should be able to accomodate that. Florida Graphic Services does excellent work here in Florida.

How about using your camera in full auto mode and making note of the settings being chosen by the precise instrument your camera is. After that, you should read up on the references that your fellow hoggers suggested. Takes time and devotion but you will get it....Enjoy!

Photo looks fine to me. No offense but, have you had your eyes checked lately? Everyone agrees it seems neutral to them.
Sorry if i offended you but that seems to be a variable that wasn't mentioned. Good Luck

After installing a Fully charged fresh battery, install a lens and a fresh memory card. If you still get the "err" code you must consult Nikon repair facility...best of luck!

Hello all. I am a former film shooter Cannon A1 and AE1 Program. I have not touched either in many years. I purchased a Nikon D800 about a year ago. I was recently
looking online and discovered Rokinon Lenses. I realize they are manual focus which is ok. My questions are 1. Are they good quality? 2 Are they FX or DX ? 3 How is the picture quality? My current lenses are a Nikon Nifty 50mm 1.4 28-300mm 3.5-5.6 and 85 mm 1.8.
I am open to hear about other lenses but I am most curious Rokinon

I hear a lot about using a prime 50mm and was wondering what the best distance to subject is. I played a little today with my 50mm f/1.4 and I guess I am use to using my zooms to get to the subject.

I have been away from photography for over 15 years and it's like learning all over again.

Today was a small lunch event and I was moving in close to some of the speakers. I was probably 15-20' from them.

Are we talking about IQ here? So what distance renders the technically best image? Why does that even matter? Just shoot what you feel looks good with the best technique you can muster. Thats the best "distance"

I have had Adorama make me several large prints on metallic paper.(16x20 and 20x24). Was not happy when framing them.
The glass caused them to lose the brilliance that makes them so attractive. Much better to coat them and display without any glass. You will love them.
