In the reflected image, the extended arm has a shadow immediately under it, projected onto the back wall. To me it doesn’t look right but if you’re happy with it there’s no need to worry about it Howard.

Thank you, I never noticed that. It will be removed shortly.

Photo 1: The UN building in New York City. A B/W taken over 60 years ago.
Photo 2: Sunset in Northern Canada taken a few years ago.
My Imagination: "No more water, the fire next time"

"God gave Noah the rainbow sign. No more water. The fire next time."

My imagination tends toward realism; this image was originally posted in the Post Processing section. This image is perhaps the only "Surrealistic" one I've created.

I think it’s appropriate for this section Howard. Let’s assume so until told otherwise! It’s very well done. I’m not sure the arm shadow is correct though - or necessary - I’d remove it.

I'm not sure what you mean by the "Arm shadow"

Wasn't sure this would be considered Digital Artistry or simply Post Processing.
I explained to the women what I was going to do before I took the photos - I didn't
want to surprise the v_ _ _ _ _ e!

You certainly found the perfect marble Howard, a great result. How about a bit of Ps to make it a perfect circle - or devise a means of support that would allow that? Might be tricky but worth the effort.

Yes, I left the bottom untouched; this will not be going into my "Abstract" collection so as soon as I saw what I had, it was more important to get this photo to UHH ... a Christmas marble!
Soon ..... I will complete the bottom, just for practice.

An old Glitterdome shake it and be hypnotized as the snow that falls on the characters ... they are on the other side of the hill in this photo.

It's really a marble.

It took me a while to find a marble suitable for the season.

I do want to keep it looks the way it was.

You have gotten the correct advice from several people. Fill the hole with as many round toothpicks (and a bit of glue) as necessary - three will probably do. Put the hinge back in place and screw in the screws. Do not worry about cenrering them, the holes of the hinge will keep the screws going where they are supposed to go. The key is wedging as much new wood into the old screw hole as possible, THAT'S the important thing.

There is something mystical about the image but above that, I could actually feel the coldness of the night.

I was going to add a title to the marble ... "The Cosmos"

The title for this creation :-) "In The Beginning"

That’s an attractive result! Is it something to do with Glowing Edges filter (I’m not familiar with what’s available in Elements).

Yes, that's the option. I used it awhile ago, check your PM.

I cant write code or mess with dll stuff...but my only very novice question is if you edited the photo, exported it and did not include that data in the export? Thus it does not exist?

The information exists, as I described earlier. If came to your house with the photos on a flashdrive and then downloaded the photos to a folder on your computer, and then selected and opened one photo , then opened properties and selected the details tab, you would see the the ISO, F-stop, Shutter Speed , and all of the other information that you would expect to see.

I get all of the details on some JPG's and not others. Sorry, I don't know why.
Try Photoshop o=r Lightroom and you should see all of the information.

Thank you; I realize there are other ways of seeing the information but I'm trying to fix the problem, not work around it.

Yes, that's not the problem.
