Wasn't sure this would be considered Digital Artistry or simply Post Processing.
I explained to the women what I was going to do before I took the photos - I didn't
want to surprise the v_ _ _ _ _ e!
How great is this! Certainly deserves a place in Digital Artistry!!! Excellent idea...Simple yet causes a second (or third and fourth) view.
Definitely "fun"! Excellent idea.
Smart looking and a great idea. Might make for a series of similar "ideas"!
The question is/is't digital-art would not be a question if the photo setting was dark film-noir B&W. Perhaps three drinking buddies standing at night in front of a plate glass window and one of the guys was missing in the reflection, a super natural ghost story.
This photo's story could be directed by the all important title... Titles tie the viewer to the photo's story when they view. "They Live Among Us" is perhaps too vague, who lives among us? If the title was "Departed Friend's Memory Lives" we could empathize with the photo.
I think it’s appropriate for this section Howard. Let’s assume so until told otherwise! It’s very well done. I’m not sure the arm shadow is correct though - or necessary - I’d remove it.

I'm not sure what you mean by the "Arm shadow"

In the reflected image, the extended arm has a shadow immediately under it, projected onto the back wall. To me it doesn’t look right but if you’re happy with it there’s no need to worry about it Howard.
That's a really neat shot!

Thank you, I never noticed that. It will be removed shortly.

How can I be happy with it now that I've seen it? Of course it doesn't look right :-) :-) I just never noticed it. Now that I've removed it, the arm stands out against the back wall far better ... a definite improvement. Thank you again.
