Thank you everyone. I'm blown away by the many positive response's and really appreciate them.
Since there are many choices I will need time to look in to each of them.
I'm leaning towards Corel because I have heard that the learning curve is more intuitive on a PC running Win 7 X 64.
Will let you know what I find out.
Here's what I found out...
"Lightroom, on the other hand, was designed primarily to enhance professional photographers' workflow. While it contains less editing tools, photographers can edit multiple, similar photos quicker than they can in Photoshop."
Thank you and I will look at it. Will try to find a website that can compare one program against another.
Thanks for the post... and "It could happen"!
I was in N. Charleston this morning. I live in West Ashley.
My son works in Washington DC and he told me this morning that they had 2" and were expecting 8" more. Burrrrrrrrrrrrr.....
I am struggling with photo editing. I notice most folks seem to like Adobe PS.
This program is expensive I do not want to have to under take the learning curve and find out I am not computer saavy enough to use it. I'm currently using Picasa with some success. Had a bad experience with Elements 8. Couldn't get it to work on two computers.
Anyone out there using something less complicated than Adobe PS but a step up from Picasa?
All feedback appreciated.

I kinda figured it was something like that but WOW what impact.
Thanks for the visual treats.
Thanks and I look forward to your posts'.
Yes, just did not use a good photo editing program so background is uneven.
Did it for effect but it could be a lot better if I had used a good photo editing program. I any case, thanks for the feedback. It is the reason I'm here.
