I am in a learning curve as well and am having some questions . Once you edit in RAW and save to JPEG, do you now have 2 copies? And how to best file and store
JR, you are a bit testy on several occasions or perhaps almost every response you make to others! Lighten up or just ignore the ones that test your patience. We all joined this forum because it is a friendly and helpful group !
Yes! I forgot to include that, thanks. I appreciate your advice.
I just purchased a new Canon and it came with the EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III. It does not indicate USM on the lens or the box. I already have the same lens , purchased used that does indicate ultrasonic on the lens. I am a beginner and would like to know which to keep and which to sell?
C. David,
Now that I have pulled my "big girl panties up" after feeling like I was punched in the stomach, I can begin to appreciate your post.
I had not posted my biography so I had not made it apparent that this is purely a hobbie, one that I have only had the time to focus on in my free time over a 2 month span. So, with that said, I will take your critique as quite a compliment.
I hear your message loud and clear and agree with you whole heartedly regarding professional aspirations. I don't think you anyone can point and shoot though. I do think one must have "an eye" to capture a great shot; one that allows the viewer to "feel" the moment.
I do appreciate your time and I have purchase several books that were recommended by others on this site and I am eagerly awaiting their arrival.
Again, thanks for being so blunt!!!!
Bret,
You are so kind. It is amazing that those of you who have a professional perspective give of yourselves to view our newbies pics. I took this picture while I was taking my first class at our local Community College. I used the Fuji FinePx S700 with 10x Optical f=6.3-63mm 1:3.5-3.7. Given that, I guess it was a fairly decent shot?
Daryl,
Thanks for the encouragement. First photo ever offered for the public view.
Most of my photos are from my IPhone or a 35 mm point fixed telephoto point and shoot! I just purchased Canon Rebel XTI 400D. I look forward to others critiquing my work ! Thanks so much
