I've attached my Black Rapid strap to one of the lugs with a key ring. Works really well and I feel more secure.
The 28-300 is my glass of choice for walk around and family (not photo specific) travel. It’s not the sharpest but often sharp enough on my D810 and allows opportunities while still enjoying my family and the the non photographic experience. No one cares what camera or lens is used to capture an image if the photo moves them. Enjoy.
I subscribe and use alternative programs as needed like Nik, DxO, Topaz, etc
Thanks for the suggestions and good advice
Linda is spot on as usual!
Those folks at the manufactures workrooms have more compiled knowledge stuffed into their cameras than any of us can hold a candle to. I think it is foolish to not take advantage of it and then adjust to suit.
I think you will adjust to 27" quickly and wonder how you got anything accomplished on the 15" screen.
Those who only know how are always at the mercy of those who know why. I believe that it's depth of knowledge and the application of that knowledge that makes the difference between great and good enough. The goal is for simple solutions that are not simplistic. It was easier to drop rolls of film off at the Fotomat and accept what ever they produced. Easier is seldom better. If you don't like the thread, change the channel!
Welcome to the next phase of photo madness!
I have been very happy with the Canon Pro 10 using Precision Color inks. Check out Red River papers, they have a wide selection of quality paper and pricing that will not take your breath away. However IMHO you'll do fine with Canon Paper. Remember, 13 x 19 may seem small but when matted and framed it makes an impressive and usable statement.
I have been very happy with PC ink in my Canon Pro 10. Test prints in a south facing window without shade look fine a year out. I live south of Tampa. Good luck!
I was a PC user From the first MSDOS unlit 3 years ago. Letting the Mac be a Mac & the PC go its own thing has really worked for me. Congratulations.
I try to make a point of not letting my subjects know there is any one behind the post processing curtain.
What a great idea. Thank you for the doing and thank you for sharing.
