Leaf cutter bee stocking a nest in fence post bolt hole. Tripod mounted and manually pre-focused. Several shots until one was in focus!

It was weird as I had never seen one before.
I was speaking to my neighbour who was telling me they had taken over his unused greenhouse.
Then ten minutes later I noticed this one on my patio!

Thanks,
These speedlites are pretty clever bits of kit when you start to learn how to use them!

With lens I have, stopping down to increase the Dof I get defraction problems....I tried. So without stacking it's the best I could do.

Do you have any with the full body?

Thank you all for looking...I didn't take photo of a full body of an adult, but here is a young one and a duck as compensation for jeanbug35!

This fox has been coming into our garden since late spring, I managed to snap him/her a couple of times. It must be an ok area for it as it seems to be thriving.

Thanks,
the last one caught me out as the fox disappeared for a few seconds and then came out with the unfortunate magpie in it's jaws running pretty fast. I had to quickly raise camera again and hoped for the best, not great quality but at least I have a record of it.
