Took this shot while on vacation of a mother and her son. The time was mid day but under cover in an open, out door restaurant with the natural light.
Mother and son
An Indian walks into a cafe with a shotgun
in one hand pulling a male buffalo with the other.
He says to the waiter:
"Want coffee."
The waiter says, "Sure. Coming right up."
He gets the Indian a tall mug of coffee......
The Indian drinks the coffee down in one gulp,
turns and blasts the buffalo with the shotgun,
causing parts of the animal to splatter everywhere and then just walks out.
The next morning the Indian returns.
He has his shotgun in one hand, pulling
another male buffalo with the other.
He walks up to the counter and says to
the waiter:
"Want coffee."
The waiter says "Whoa!
We're still cleaning up your mess from yesterday.
What was all that about, anyway?"
The Indian smiles and proudly says,
Training for position in Canadian government.
Come in, drink coffee, shoot the bull,
leave shit for others to clean up,
disappear for rest of day."
Thought this pic looked better in B&W as it gives it more drama.
Pied Bride
Really made an effort to rise early enough to get some sunrise shots as sunset was out of the question. Weird start to the morning as it turned into an absolutely beautiful day. Think I have a couple of keepers though.

An elderly lady and I presume her daughter or grand-daughter enjoying each other and the moment.
A few pics from last week and the one sunny day that we've had in a while. And of course had to stop at the 50's diner for an ice cream.
Here are two of the same images. One is scanned with the de-screening off and the other on. You may have to download them.
You guys are just way too nice!
Colony Farm, along the river banks.
Bored and some free time so playing around with an old shot. What do think?
Sorry I had to leave quickly....The scanner software should have a checkbox or another way of allowing the scanner to use de-screening. This smooths out the photo and doesn't read all the dots from printing.

Turn the dithering feature off.
I couldn't believe that there were about a dozen of these guys just hanging around to get photographed.
Took a random shot of a gangway's reflection in the water. What a surprise!
Here is a couple more shots that I took in Puerto Rico January 2012.
