I dont live in fear nor does anyone I know. I am fortunate enough to live in a state (Az) where the law makers had enough sense NOT to prevent its citizens from defending themselves. We DONT have to be victims where I live. I am not affraid to go anywhere, in any city, in any part of town or the wilderness at anytime because we have open carry laws. I am sure you nor just about anyone you know can say that ,...honestly.

I certainly don't live in a permanent state of fear as it appears many seem to do as seen in the various postings.

You may be less likely to get shot but you are MUCH more likely to be stabbed, beaten, robbed, raped or a victim of some other violent crime than myself or any other American.
The majority of gun deaths in the USA are suicides and the majority of those are the elderly. Over 3 times as many Americans die in car crashes each year.
Look at the statistics for Washington D.C. and Chicgo and how well there handgun bans worked for them. They continue to have some of the highest murder rates in the world, not just America but the world.
Feel free to add your own night shots or comment on mine
What is wrong is societies, health care professionals, government agencies and legal and court authorities inability to identify the mentally deranged people commiting these acts. Seldom are these acts commited by someone who hasn't had multiple incedents indicating there mental state. Most often it is years of failing to recognize the potential of these sociopaths and psyhcopaths to do great harm. Guns are NOT the issue, these people intent on doing harm will find a way, a car into a crowd of people or home made bomb made from easily accessable and
readily available components are just a few ways. We as a society have to recognize, identify and prevent these poeple from being able to act on there desires to harm others.

Can anyone help me with the pros and cons of softbox vs umbrella reflectors for indoor photography or is one superior to the other? I am just looking to do small indoor shoots, portriat and pin-up type photos with limited ceiling hieght and limited floor space. Any advice, insight and or opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Robert G
