Thank you. I shoot a lot of bird photos, and often rely on my Sigma 150-500mm lens, which is a full frame lens.

If you shoot birds and other action photos, the Z5 might not be your best choice. I had the Z5 (great camera), but didn't have fast enough burst speed for birds in flight. Switched to the Z6, and LOVE it.

Photography is not about what is seen in the photo. It's about what is captured forever in the image.

Absolutely correct!

Maybe! But how do you know what their wings look like if you have never seen any?

I based my interpretation on photos depicting Angel wings. I have nothing else to go on except for my firm belief.

Nice! So...how many angels have you seen??

I believe Angels are ever present, one may not see them, but I don't have to see them to know Angels are real. I can't see oxygen, but I know it is there!

Momma Bluebird worked hard to finish her nest building. I think her wings look like Angel Wings. Camera is Nikon Z5, with Nikon Z100-400mm lens.

I was out shooting this afternoon, took maybe 60 photos. Got home, put my scandisk in the card reader and was going to download the photos to my computer. I was going to rename the file folder (which I always do), but something went wrong, I accidentally deleted all the photos on the card. Is there any way to recover those photos?

Just checked to see what the response is on my Z6. It is apparent that the 'Release Mode' (single, low, high and high*) can not be saved differently to the 'U1,2,3 user modes.

In other words whatever the release mode is that you have chosen in any mode it will always be applicable in the Us and PSAM modes until such time as you change it.

That is exactly what is happening. Thank you for the info!

I shoot with the Nikon Z5. I am trying to save setting for normal, stationary shooting to U1, and action shooting to U2. So, I make my camera setting for U1 and single shot mode, then save it to User 1. Then when I make my settings for U2, I want the shooting mode to be continuous H high speed, then save it to User 2. Now. when I move to User 1, the shooting mode will automatically switch to continuous H, instead of staying at single shot mode. What am I doing wrong?

I had the D7500, and it served me well. I did not find a second card slot an issue, since I rarely go out shooting all day long. I made the switch to mirrorless, selling the D7500 and getting the Nikon Z5 camera. I don't regret that decision, I am very happy with the Z5.

Got this shot of a bluebird just as she was lighting on the front of the nesting box. Z5 mounted with Z100-400mm lens, 400mm, 1/1600 sec, F10, ISO 6400, highlight matrix metering
