Don't suppose you'd want to swap? 34 C and 91% RH here yesterday. Its 0617 and a very pleasant 24C and still 90% RH!
Hi Mullumby, we didn't do the coastal strip between Kalbarri and Coral Bay so missed The Red Bluff. I read that its a fabulous place for very experienced surfers...
Cecily and I are "staying home" this year; i.e. we're not travelling OS. However, we do have a big trip planned. We're taking the 'van from here (Brisbane) down through Broken Hill, The Flinders, Coober Pedy, up the centre to Alice. We'll leave the 'van there and do a "Tag-a-long" through The Tanami, down the Canning, across The Gunbarrel and north of The Nullarbor on The Anne Beadell and down to Ceduna. We'll then head back to the Alice and up to Darwin. On the return, we'll turn left on The Savannah Way through Borroloola and the Gulf country, visit my sister in Yungaburra and come home via The Lava Tubes, Emerald inland rather than the coast.
We reckon that'l keep us busy from April through to August or even September!
Here's a copy of the route the Tag-a-long trip takes.

Doesn't seem all that long ago but when compared to today's vehicles; they're as much if not more about electronics than mechanical.
