Part the small hamlet of Greenough in the mid west of W.A.
Although we camped on the Greenough R at a couple of different spots, I don't remember going through the hamlet but just googled Greenough and read about the murders there... very sad indeed!
Thanks Webbo, the murders were not at the hamlet area, they were some distance away, Greenough is quite a large area, and although everyone who lives here knows where they took place the location was never made public,
my brother and i actually went to school at the hamlet many yrs ago, there was a boarding section there, our parents were stationed in Onslow.

Many congratulations to Scarlet and Mullumby and all the others who have hit the 100 mark with thier coverage of the Australian theme!
And welcome back from your walk-about Scarlet!
Great to see your view from Mount Chiddyup...and while the light may not have been what you'd have liked, nothing usually is in the great outdoors, but you did a beautiful job "just photographing a big rock" anyway!
I hope all of you keep on having fun putting out windows to your world!

Heck of a great shot Mullumby... Big~~~!
I have been having great trouble trying to upload anything for the last week nearly, tried three again today, no luck, two, no luck, the single one went through, will stick with that if i cannot get anymore up at one time for a while.
This is the Gloucestere tree in Pemberton WA. It was used as a fire lookout tree and now is a popular tree for brave tourists willing to climb the iron pegs to the top which is 61 metres off the ground. I took 16 images and put them together in Photoshop for this pic; hence why it's so tall and narrow. Many tourists get up the first few steps and dare go no further. (Probably many locals also dare go no further). The climbing pegs consist of metal stakes hammered into its trunk.
Scarlet, i love the pink and grey galah and
The Karri trees. You did great work creating these shots.
I would never be able to climb.. heights are not my thing..
It sure was good to see.
I hope I don't lose track of your gallery. Sometimes sites are frozen at 100 pages and then you have to start a new one.
Mullumby very pretty.
I've seen others complain that they are having trouble loading more than one shot lately. Must be administrations problem.
