A lot more than you expect or will like!

All the major polls show Trump beating Biden in the swing states so if he holds onto the states he got last time plus the swing states...

Oh, I don't like a lot of things he pops off at the mouth about, but I understand it since I often do the same thing.
But his policies worked:
a. Smashed ISIS
b. Started no new wars
c. Putin & friends stayed pretty tame, mouthed off but didn't do much action
d. The Middle East and other hot spots were a lot quiter
e. The economy kept growing and as one Biden v**er from 2020 said in a "Man on the Street" thing I saw on TV "I'm v****g for Trump this time. I
had more money in my pocket."
f. The border was better controlled than it had been for a long time and illegal crossings were going down

All in all I would rather have someone mouthy and irritating at times who gets things done for the country than a nice Old Grampa who needs three Secret Service agents to find his ice cream cone while most of his policies flop and make things worse.

Over and Out - I am not in the mood to engage in a flame war. I have coffee to drink and books to read while I spoil the dogs and go through my "Honey Do List".

My feelings exactly, if Biden runs I v**e for his opponent.

We are paying $80 billion per year on prisons now. Eliminate guns and we'd all be safer, with fewer incarcerated (one of the few things we're #1 at as a nation is highest numbers in prisons). Program would pay for itself in less than 10 years. It's called planning ahead, not next plan.

As long as the second amendment exists that will not happen. The answer lies in spending another 80 billion into the prison pot and enforce gun crimes properly and send the shooters to jail or to their maker.

We've all heard it...the NRA rhetoric. It takes a good guy with a gun to stop a bad guy with a gun. Well, what happened in KC yesterday then? There were 800 good guys (police; highly trained, all armed, wearing vests, dedicated to protecting the citizens of their good city) who couldn't stop a few bag guys from k*****g and injuring 20 people. Video shows very courageous unarmed bystanders take down a suspect. It kinda shoots that rhetoric full of holes, doesn't it? The availabity of guns is a problem. That point can't be argued.

Is strange to anyone that hindsight is always better than foresight? Hindsight is a study of History whereas Foresight is blinded by an unforeseeable future. Quit your b***hing and go to prime , the name of the movie is "Surrounded", It is centered after the Civil War and has a bit to say about the Separate but not really equal bit. A typical western centered around a free black woman attempting to reach Colorado to reach her Claim.

Today's political parties in the US resemble those of the German Govt. in the 1920s.

You may as well v**e democrat. A wasted v**e for Haley just adds to the democrats agenda. That's why the democrats seem to rule. They stick together. GOP could learn from that.

I will write in Nikki Haley. Neither Trump or Biden are qualified and Trump really sank himself with his remarks at the NRA convention about inviting Putin to invade any NATO country that did not keep its bills paid.
tak

Not so sure about Haley, but if I have to v**e against Biden I will v**e the Republican candidate. The party is using Biden to elect a vice president that will take his place shortly after inauguration day. We are all played as fools by the parties.
I found that NATO bit to be a hint that a nation not paying it's fair share for defense should not expect protection, it is a legal protection racket.

Forgive me, I asked before, old age has it's problems and I recognize them in myself and others which is why I cannot v**e for Joe.

Happy Lunar New Year, enjoy it with those Grandchildren.

SCOTUS set a precedent with the Gore case. There is a reason for that article in an amendment. It should be used when and where applicable. Every citizen should have the opportunity to have their case heard -- that's the mantra we heard for over 60 v****g lawsuits. It is no different now.

Can't be removed until he holds office is just an off ramp from the chaos that would ensue. It's back to my original argument that just because there is language allowing the actions doesn't make it a wise, practical or pragmatic thing to do. The originalists will v**e for procedural pragmatism by taking the language into the current political context.

Note what is NOT being argued forcefully:

1) the definition of "i**********nist"
2) he didn't have "due process"
3) that there must be a conviction
4) whether an "officer" or not
5) that impeachment has to happen first

The crux of the decision is when to apply the disqualification -- while "running" or while "holding" the office. Any off ramp to get a unified v**e and avoid ensuing civil unrest is their goal.

Why don't they do what Kim does to any opponent, family or not, sure would cure their problems. Face it 3G, we do not need lawyers and judges to tell us how to cast or v**es, We, The People of this great nation get to cast our v**es without interference from any and all. If Biden runs I have no choice but to v**e Conservative.
