I know a lot of you don't like squirrels, but I think they're great subjects. This is "Frankie." I even named him.

Great captures Vickie. I think they're cute too.

This little guy seemed to be as curious about us as we were of him. I'm told it is an eastern blue bird. I had never seen one before. Thanks to him or her for staying put long enough for me to get the shot.

Well captured Sam.

A regular patient of mine with his new pup, Luna. His mom sent these she told me he wanted me to see Luna. Looks like Luna will be receiving lots of love and play time.

Wonderful. Kids and dogs are meant for each other.

Recent trip. First is Bradford-on-Avon; a lovely old stone town (pop about 10,000) that seems to have been there forever. This image is a tea room, a stone's throw from the river (Avon). It was actually a very nice day, weather wise, but the mood in my mind conjured up something else - hence the tampering. Would have looked too much like a post card otherwise. Second is Robin Hood's Bay; a charming village with winding little streets and plenty of smuggling connections; even Dracula! We stayed in the top right room looking out over the sea with fish and chips (what else), wine/beer (what else) for dinner. Heaven!

I simply love sunflowers. My mom always says a person can't help but smile at the sight of a sunflower. I hope you smile when viewing these.

Nice images Sam. I have only ever seen the yellow one here in Aussie.

A photography friend sent this to me he said it was his newest lens. He had no idea what the thing actually is. I thought someone on UHH might know. That is not him in the photo.

If that's "Sony" can you imagine how big "Dad" would be?

You'd have to think it was for astronomy wouldn't you?

This building was the administration building for the Municipal Tramways Trust, I did a 5 year apprenticeship there back in the 60s. It's now the administration building for the Adelaide Botanic Gardens.
I was recently invited to join their photography group which I did a few weeks ago. We have our meetings in this building.
It's been 56 years since I was last in this building, I spent most of the last year of my apprenticeship on the top floor in the drawing office designing the next series of buses.
It was built in 1909 and has had some restoration but I think it's a great looking old building.

Great looking building and typical of Adelaide that it's still standing today and looking as good as it does.
I love the B&W shot. Best wishes to you and Lorraine.
