If I was going to critique anything at all, they might be a bit harsh on the contrast... like the dehaze or clarity sliders were dragged too far to the right... however, I see this a lot lately... in portraits & landscapes - Maybe it's a thing. I like clarity dragged a touch to the left of center, like a soft focus lens and less defined & opaque shadows. It could also be the Hedgehog preview settings, sometimes things are way different when you can download the image to see it compared to when it appears inline with the text.

Look into how polarizers work... they are not as straightforward as people normally think.

For landscapes with a wide angle lens, polarizers only work at certain angels to the direction of sunlight. With a wide angle that will show up as a band of filtered light on the photo plane, and areas ... that are unfiltered as the direction you face changes from where the polarizer does to angles it does not work in the same photo. Wide-angle simply will go in and out of this effective angle. making a weird effect.

ND can be done post production for exposure, but PP can't really duplicate the control of long shutter speeds or DOF as nice as shooting them.

PP to B&W is best shooting in color, you can control the same effect by PP filters, or try this...Place your image on a bottom player... you will never touch it in the conversion again. Add two "hue saturation" adjustment layers above it, top one set blending mode to "NORMAL", and in the properties panel slide saturation all the way left to -100- thats it for this layer... everything will be done on the hue saturation adjustment layer below this one...

Then you select the second "Hue Saturation" adjustment layer below, but instead of "NORMAL" you set bending mode to "COLOR" then in the properties box, play with the Hue, Saturation - maybe not so much the "lightness l slider... and wing them around & watch the effect- its dramatic and amazing. There are other ways of doing this, but this is quick and very effective.

By making B&W images from RGB images, you get the detail of all three channels of color to mess with to get the contrast and values and tones you want... Go ahead and click off that top saturation adjustment layer, leave the next one down on... and see what you did to the original image- its exactly like applying all sorts of color filters..

B&W Film has its own place though. The grain, etc... when expertly exposed. And prints.. well using platinum (platinotypes) or other papers to print- its quite beautiful, can't really be replicated by electronic work flow... and they really becomes hangable/sellable/art. But it takes a good capture, and manual PP under an enlarger dodging and burning.

You clearly don't understand that we are NOT a democracy, never were, they don't work, never have- a full democracy = mob rule - lynchings become legal, as long as the majority v**es for it... You've improved the tonal range of these "Fav's"! They are much better and more 3-D with the darkest areas black, and everything in-between- they all now pop!! Very nice!

The Yelling of "fire" in a crowed theater isn't accurate as an example of a limit on first amendment rights.

It is perfectly legal to yell fire anywhere at any time.

However it does not make you immune to damages that your actions, wether spoken or in any other physical fashion, create. Yelling fire if it creates a false report, may put others at risk- its this chain of events it may create that you would be charged for. Pulling a fire alarm, essentially the same thing as yelling fire... however it indeed will cause a chain of events... why it is a Class 4 felony - unless you are of the privileged party.

It seems our lady justice does not have a blindfold on, or one congressman would be in jail for intentionally breaking this law. Justice is sadly an illusion created by those in the power to decide which laws to enforce... and those to ignore.

Ask anybody in either the police or armed forces and you will find that they will be on the side of the constitution... the same constitution you are opposed to. So can't blame you for searching for a way to upend it- and tell everyone its in their best interest as you do. Just like the 1st amendment is under constant attack from the same side.

Yelling FIRE is protected speech. Google it. You would be held responsible for any harm if it was proved your actions resulted in harm to someone else... but then you are always potentially liable if you cause something. If no one got hurt, then nothing would happen.

Now imagine pulling a fire alarm in a crowded statehouse... knowing full well there isn't any fire. This is a known and widely accepted illegal t***sgression... tell us who went to jail or was arrested for this actual recent event?.
