I agree! Hope Bruce Maxwell gets the message soon that he might find himself without a job - like Kaepernick - if he keeps on kneeling... https://www.cbsnews.com/news/oakland-as-bruce-maxwell-kneels-national-anthem/

ETA: I know this was in September, but there's no info that I can find as to whether he is still kneeling or if it was only one time....anyone know?

Maxwell did that toward the end of the season. I'm not sure how many times he did it but I contacted the Oakland A's and expressed my opinion. All of these teams have a "contact us" at the bottom of their websites. So far all but the Packers have email that are open for contacting and commenting. I get the feeling since all of the Packers are protesting they do not want the emails. They do have regular mail address.

Mailing Address
Green Bay Packers
P.O. Box 10628
Green Bay, WI 54307-0628

Many of their sponsors also have email addresses that you can contact. I found a great list that I am working my way through.

hey...what did you think of the song??

It is an amazing song written by Irving Berlin. I think Irving Berlin was one of, if not the best composer is American history. Kate Smith performed it beautifully.

I've made 15-20 Shutterfly books. I make one for every hiking season, one for all grandkids' first year, one for every person who retires from work, and one every time I travel. It is easy to use and a nice consistent quality. Use the "customize" option if you like to place the photos yourself. Save the book and then wait for the first 40-50% off sale to buy it. They run those quite often. Love it!!!

This morning, I got an email from them for unlimited pages.

So you think they should do it with no one in the stands. Lol good thinking. Lol

They should do it on their time, not mine or yours. They can hold press conferences or discuss their issues during the interviews at the end of the game.

What does how much they make have to do with it.

When they are paid millions to entertain, it is hard to listen to their protests of being oppressed. What a wonderful club....the Oppressed Millionaires Club!!!

From the reactions I heard from many Americans today, I believe this protest is not sitting well. The news would have you believe different, but what I hear on the streets is not what's being reported. By the way. Hats off to Alejandro Villanueva!!!!!!!!!!!

Most of the people I know have dumped their Dish, Direct TV, and cable to boycott the oppressed millionaires. I have too. Being disrespected in my living room was the final straw. I cancelled Dish last year. Football is forbidden in my home. Holidays were very pleasant not having the television blasting and everybody yelling for their team. Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays and holidays have become nice fun family days without football. We do things instead of being couch potatoes. Many people I know feel the same way. The news reports do whatever it takes to sell papers!! Football has not been missed!!!!

It also irritates me that every time I make a purchase in a store it supports the NFL by paying for their stadium. That is their work place and as such they should pay for it themselves. We don't buy buildings for other business's. I will never see the stadiums that I am paying for. We will never see the end of the stadium tax because in a couple of years the big babies will not be happy with the stadium and have to another one. It never ends. They should pay the players less and pay their own business expenses.

Keep in mind that each of the teams have an email address. You can always send an email to the teams expressing your opinion.

By the way, the football teams all have email addresses. You can exercise your freedom of speech by sending them your opinion.

Several people I know, including me, have dumped dish, direct and cable. This was the final straw in the total lack of quality programs and ever increasing prices to watch television. Nobody wants to be disrespected in their own living room and they are disrespecting their "fans" and everybody else by sitting during the National Anthem. I don't care much about football and I am hoping this will put an end to the overpaid bunch of babies that get by with any nasty thing they do in the name of football. I have been boycotting football since the day the Colon sat during the Military Appreciation game in San Diego 2016. It really is nice to not share holidays and family events with football players screaming on the television.

Colon has cried about being oppressed. Really oppress me with a multi million dollar salary. He and his other ass sitters and kneelers could really make a difference if they were to pool their over paid resources and decided to make a difference instead of complaining because somebody else has not made that difference. If they were to do something productive to make a difference, they would get others to join them. It really is time for them to STAND UP and be a man.

Your political views are one thing and can be debated, but your personal attack on someone who you really don't know (or appreciate) is unkind, ungentlemanly and potentially hurtful to a very nice man and has no place on this forum. I hope that Jerry didn't read this, and if he did, considers the source, but you owe him a public apology.

Totally agree!!!

What say you?

Try to watch the news and keep yourself informed. It is not up to me to guide you to, or through current events just because you are too lazy to keep up!!!! Maybe you should spend a little less time here in the attic.

He and the police department are also being sued in Federal Court for Noor's abusive and inappropriate actions on May 25th, 2017. The date on the lawsuit was June 26th, 2017. After reading this lawsuit, I wonder why he was on duty. I also read that the Chief of Police did not know Noor had any ongoing investigations into inappropriate behavior. Noor has three internally with the police department. Two of them are from this year and this lawsuit.
