Nice series thehing...

I did the same thing last year... I found a nesting Robin family outside my 2nd floor hallway window just after they hatched... I regretfully missed the nest building and egg bearing stage... see my "Nesting Robin Family" posts (about 40+ posts)... I have been watching the nest but no new takers... the nest is deteriorating badly but I still keep an eye on it just in case...

Mine has been empty for 2 weeks now, still no takers.

Terrific images! Keep us posted on their progress :)

Thanks Linda. It didn't take them long to grow and leave the nest, in less than a week they were gone.

This is a good shot. I'm sure he would like a copy of it. Your practice seems to have worked out just fine. "Death Stare" is what I would title this photo or maybe
"Rebel With a Cause".
Thanks for the stare or I mean share.
Dave

Thanks Dave. I have no idea who he is. I walk the dogs on various routes around the neighbourhood and have been keeping an eye out for him. If I ever see him again I will definitely ask if he wants a copy.

Great shot Rob! Sharp where it needs to be, motion blur everywhere else.

Could be he just wanted to make sure you were aiming a camera at him, and not something else.

Thanks Howard. Up here in Canada all we have are cameras and fingers. I think I just surprised him, I was walking my 2 dogs and it really was quite dark.

Practicing panning when I got this shot. I thought it turned out pretty good, especially the death stare he was throwing my way.

Wow, that's pretty cool. You'll be able to watch them grow up. These are wonderful shots.

Thanks James. They grow amazingly fast. They will probably be out of the nest by the end of the week.

What's your favorite? On which body?

Right now it is a Sony 16-105 on a Sony A77. I will be waiting for some reviews on Tamron's new 16-300, would have absolutely everything covered then.
