having read through the entire thread, I will risk a response. MT shooter does provide good information - he is not or is anyone else infallible. a simple polite disagreement is appropriate -and with the providing of presumed correct information. Private message is probably the better way to go for more in depth disagreements. the Troll comment I took to be he knew he would be attacked no matter what his answer is/was. and he was right about being attacked. since none of the vitriol actually claimed he was wrong. call him on wrong answers by all means - how else can we learn and let the rest of use decide what to believe.

RE going to Nikon - I bought in to the Pentax mystic love not to be shooting the big 2

am looking for a prime lens. the 35mm 2.4 or the 50 1.8 cost is the same. shoot luncheon speakers and attendees at events would also use for general purpose use have 18-55 pentax and a 70-300 sigma. when using the 18/55 at events I am usually in the 35-50 range more towards 50 end
