LoneRangeFinder: I would love to learn how to do this too, so can you PM me too or put more directions out there for everyone to see?

MOST processors allow you to make a selection for NO CROPPING.
This might leave some white edges, but those can be trimmed easier that adding on what was cropped!! I know the Walmart service allows it and most others also have it, might take a bit of playing around but it should be there.
That said,
www.acilab.com is an EXCELLENT lab.
Hi Wahawk. That link does not work - 404 error.

I like this picture, are those perseid meteors near the pole star? I missed them this year..Doug

My first attempt to "stack" star shots to make star trails. This is 70 fifteen second exposures stacked to make trails.
The best visibility was during the night from August 12 to the 13th but during the night you will be able to see these falling stars until August 23. You didn't miss the Perseid meteors.
On August 11th-13th, 2012, you will have a chance to see one of the rarest meteor shower. The Perseid meteor shower will peak in intensity, on those dates. Several meteors will be visible streaking across the sky every minute and will still be visible until August 23.
The exact peak will be around 2am early Sunday morning (Saturday night), on August 12th. The moon will be in its waning crescent phase during this time so the sky will be fairly dark and good for viewing.
So glad I will be on a camping trip in Arkansas and hopefully able to get a few good shots. Thank you for the tips!
Don't do it! My best friend asked me to take her wedding photos and I told her the same thing - I don't mind being the "extra" but I did not want the responsibility of being the only photographer. Well, after many pleadings I finally gave in. I took great photos and she got a beautiful album BUT - I ran my butt off for 3 days photographing the rehearsal, the flower making, the wedding - I didn't get to socialize with any of my friends that were there, I never got to eat and stressed myself out so much I got shingles. Sure, it's the best present to give someone but it's not worth all the hassles that go along with being the only photographer. Stick to your guns, be a secondary photographer and take fun pictures. For a gift you can make her a nice little album. (Check out the good deals you can get on Photo Books on Groupon.)

I love it! My husband had a dog when I met him that used to sit at the table and eat breakfast with him on Sunday mornings. He also used to sleep in the bed with him. Not on the foot of the bed on top of the blanket, but under the blanket with his head on a pillow like a person. When we first got married this dog slept between us and tried to push me off the bed every night!
The first Thanksgiving I spent with the in-laws was an eye opener. The sister-in-law held her dog on her lap during dinner and would feed this dog bites of food off her fork and drinks of milk out of her glass.
Animals really are members of the family on my husbands side of the family.

Thanks Sue. Yes, they do become our family members except they except us the way we are! HA! Too funny about your husbands dog, great story.

I'm so sorry you lost lucky. He looks like he was a true friend and companion.
The picture of the Scottie dog (1st pic) is the cutest ever! Black animals are so hard to photograph - you did a wonderful job!
