The download version is very good :) You might take a look at the lower left corner, a little tighter crop or some cloning could help some ? It is a great photo the way it is ")
The green sign catches my eye, maybe clone that out. The exposure is about as good as you could get in the light you had. You might be able to fuss with it in pp. The composition is very good . I like the photo. When you are out shooting the unfamiliar in an unplanned event you get what is there, for me it sets up a planned return with better conditions if possible . If not possible then enjoy what you have. Have fun. :)
california is not the most disliked state in the country. that honor belongs to the 2 states where the yankees and the red sox play. both equally disliked the only difference is the accents.
Bokeh is the area in a photo where the focus goes soft. It is very much in the control of the photographer . By changing your camera settings ( iso, shutter speed and aperture ) you can control "bokeh". I find it to be a very interesting part of taking photos. :)
I have been looking at your photos and they are always exceptionally good. The "UFO" shot is beyond that. You must be a pp wizard :) If I was a camera manufacturer I would hire you in a NY second. I often wonder what you could do with a 1Ds Mark 3. Love your photos. Thanks for sharing :)
Hi Tad, Great Photo ! The bridge leads my eye into the depth of the scene comes around to the boat then to the piling and back into the boat. I held a piece of paper over the bridge to simulate a crop and saw a completely different photo. With all that being said good job ! Oh, did I mention the reflections, super :)
I recently purchased a Canon T3i (love it!) and want to know what are some of the good editing software for a MAC. I have read a little on the Adobe Elements 10, but would like to hear from anyone if there are others out there which have proven to be just as good. Thanks :)
Hi Merrymary, i photo is a great place to start. What Mac do you have ? If you are just staring and you are shooting jpeg all should be fine. However, if you are shooting raw and you want to use Aperture 3 computer power could be come an issue. Have a ton of fun :)
Pretty! If it was mine I would clone out the little iced branches showing in the upper left corner. Otherwise it's a super find, terrific focus, color, and composition. Beautiful enough to frame and hang!
I just got my first DSLR. Nikon D3100 to be specific. I'm having trouble understanding the relationship and uses of ISO to f/stops and aperture. I have a basic understanding of what each one does, but what I mean is how to use them in conjunction to produce the shot you're looking for.
Hi CR, All of the above is a great way to learn. For me shooting photos loading them on my computer and working with them helped me understand the information I was learning. The more I shoot the better I get. My camera is with me wherever I go. Have fun :)
