That was an interesting story and has some truth to it. Here's another truth - if I buy the best camera, I will have it for years. If I buy the best coffee, it will be well on its way to the metropolitan sewerage plant in an hour or so.

I think the point is to get as much good stuff as you can, but to advise others to enjoy life without worrying about possessions.
