To me #1 the sun had reached it's fullness and was ready to start to fade. #2 the fade was starting. What I saw was when you took each--not real far apart, I think. But what would I know??? I like both, really.

I'd of given ANYTHING to of had a camera!First Roney, then Louie's face--and nothing he could do about it!!!When he gave her to me we were somewhere over near Meredian or someplace where he had a bunch of horses for the summer. He pointed her out way out there with a stallion and a bunch of mares. I told him I'd go get her, and he said you can' get her. Took me a bit, but in a while I walked up with her. Ya know, what people so often do is try to get any animal by goin at it's back. Just runs 'em and wears out the person who can't understand WHY!
Not yet. Got some physical stuff to work through, so am thinking if I don't get it by this eve, I'll go for it tomorrow. Your instructions are so clear I oughta be gettin it real soon!
Age enhanced! THAT's the ticket! As they use to say.70 is 70 on the pieces of paper. In my mind, heart and all it's a number. Actually has very little meaning--just a number. Shoot. We all got lots of 'em!
Years ago I had a wonderful blue roan.She had some appy in her and she was not of the "style" like your guy. She was a ranch and packin horse. Louie gave her to me just before we were married. She really loved me, and ditto, but her and Louie really hated each other.One summer he was shoing and told me to go get her. When I got her over, neither of them was happy! It took him forever to do one shoe. They faught like little kids! He got ready for her 2nd hoof and she had enough I wish I had had a camera because no one will believe this. She threw herself down on her back and kicked her legs like a kid with a tantrum! I laughed so hard I thought I'd pass out! Good thing Louie never came after either one of us over that.!

Wonderful!!! Were you at the round-up? Do you know the South Fork of the Salmon River in Idaho? Have you been to the Riggins Rodeo? My older daughter lives in Pendleton. Just before she was born we went out to Riggins for the rodeo. I was having a wonderful time and a friend said"they're calling your name" Brilliantly I said " Oh. She must have had the baby"Turns out it was one of the guys that works for us on the ranch and he too had come out for the rodeo. Horses, any livestock and my 'mentality" goes elsewhere sometimes!

Well, OZ, you working with a 70year old brain that has some tricky areas now days. Actually for some years, but at LAST I have help and friends and may actually learn something! And once I get back home, can start using my cameras again! What JOY!!!

And Travlmn46, thanks for the explanation. Don't know about you, Sandra, but I am working through stroke and I got a LOT to learn. This RAW will take me a LOT of figuring out, but at least the qq is answered!
Oh Boy Lad-------I can't wait to get home and do and learn! You have NO idea what your teaching and my "learning" really means to me. I have many books photography books at home--some very old, but many current. The problem is, I can't read them: I no longer know what they all mean. Really frustrating! So I do hope that all you are doing is not wasted to you!
