I took these shots in 1973 while hiking in the Olympic National Forest. Original photos were taken with Ecktachrome slide film. They have faded a bit with time so I did a minimum of color correction after digitizing. All three shots were taken in the early morning with a Pentax camera and 50mm lens.
Photo taken yesterday. Shot at f22 to get the greatest depth of field. Shot with a Z7 II with a 200mm lens. Photo is also cropped. Didn't notice the Bug, until I downloaded from the camera.
I have both the Z6 and Z7. As Nikon doesn't have a 300mm offering, I'm seriously considering getting this. Before going mirrorless, I had several Tamron lenses, and was very happy with every one of them.
Well done. Did you make the ghosts or find them on line somewhere? I need some for my collection
The first one in the color picture was a statue from a graveyard, which I modified. The picture is constructed with 7 layers. The second one was found on the the net. The image was black and converted to a negative then made transparent except for the lantern. This image is 5 layers.
What was your experience converting from dslr to mirrorless?
Bought a Z6. Loved it so much, I aslo got a Z7 II. Sold my D750 and all its lenses. No regrets. Going from mirror to mirrorless is almost a no brainer transition.
