Snowing here this morning.
Male Cardinal posing for a photo. Shot through a glass sliding door.
Birds at the feeder. One degree here this morning. C&C
Tom, I straightened out the worst ones and they look better that way. These are all cropped images as the lens is only 200mm.
Activity in my yard this morning. Shot with a D7100 & 200mm f3.0 Vivitar Series 1 I purchased used in 1979 for my F2. Please C&C.
Took my wife to the Antique Mall in Salamanca, NY today. Here are some photos taken there with a D7100 and 28-105 AF D.
Get the 7100. There are a lot of AF and AF D lenses at bargain prices that will be compatible with the 7100 (internal focus motor). Also all manual focus ai lenses will work on the 7100 in the A and M modes. Not sure if that is true of the 3300.
I put a bird feeder up for my wife last week. Never into bird photography before, I but could not resist. Shot with a D7100 using a 200mm f3.0 Vivitar Series One lens I purchased used in 1979. Set at f8, 160s, and 400 ISO and handheld. Comments/Suggestions welcome.
I use a 50mm 1.8 D on my D7100 with no problem.
I am talking about a 28-105mm f3.5-4.5 AF D Nikkor. They can be had for $110 to $150 in very good to excellent condition on Ebay. It is more compact then the 28-300 and sharper then the 24-120. See link below.

Pick up a 28-105 AF D on ebay. It is a much better lens then the 24-120, and it can be had at bargin prices. Check Ken Rockwell and other reviews.
