And the little girl in the profile looks absolutely gorgeous too!

This picture is 'Absolutely Fabulous'! I wouldn't have believed that it was shot with a 'Point and Shoot'! The background is well blurred and the plants/flowers and the Insect are extremely prominent and just pop out! I wish I could get a similar shot with my dSLR! Actually, I too started with a 'Point and Shoot' and have now 'graduated' to a Nikon D40 - lower end of the spectrum of DSLR's!
Cecil
Vee, I am tempted to be economical with the truth and say YES, but NO, i didn't - my daugher took the shot! Haven't seen the Baby yet - intend travelling down to London on Monday to see the baby! Yeah, I too am surprised as to how much of hair he has for a 8 day old baby!
Cecil
Hey, you are welcome. I am attaching a Photo of an 'addition to our family'! Only 8 days old! My daughters baby boy, 8 days old, named Leo!
Cecil
I too think it is beautiful as it is. Blurring of background may be suitable for Macro photography - but this tree stands out very well against the green background trees - nice contrast! Tis only a thought. I am not a connoiseur!
Cecil
Hi Vee, that is a beautiful shot and contrast well with the 'greenery around it'! Perhaps with the onset of Winter here, I will be able to find such a tree which has divested itself of leaves!
Cheers
Cecil
Your backgrounds are 'well blurred' and gives a lovely contrast to the photos. I really like 'ALL' THE Shots!

Hi Vee
That's a great shot. I too shoot in RAW. One day, hopefully, I too will get a nice shot like yours!

Phyllis, great minds agree
Cecil!
Suggest you try more 'shadows & highlights' adjustments to see all three horseguardsmen clearly!
Cecil
Absolutely beautiful!
