Thanks Pat for starting out the summer and reminding us of how it works. It is nice to be able to post and not be committed as a contributor or the host.
Enjoy your summer everyone!

I will do some searching for flags Pat! But here are 3 of likely my favourite which I posted before, but warrant a repeat

Nice set Sharon like them all!

Announcing a special welcome to our first challenge of the summer. Summer challenges are posted Sunday evenings (EDT usually) and go through Friday evening. Saturdays and Sundays, posted Friday evenings, are "Free" (AKA Post what you'd like). There is no host for Saturday and Sunday. Why? Because it's summer and we need a guilt-free break. Comments are welcome BUT comments are OPTIONAL. No hurt feelings if your post doesn't receive a comment. It's summer, spend your time shooting, posting, and enjoying this summer remembering how restricted we were in the summer of 2020.

This week's challenge is about flags - Memorials, your country flag (different nations are represented on UHH), and ....well, what different types of flags can you find?
Announcing a special welcome to our first challeng... (show quote)

Thanks Pat for hosting the challenge. Like all of your first submissions!! A great start.

Since Fleet Week 2021 is cancelled, I thought to post some from 2 years ago with mostly military ships, and some from 1994 when there were tall sailing ships coming to NYC..in the mist & fog. The 2019 photos were shot at west 109 street, while the tall ships shot from Houston street.

The 1994 photographs were color slides, scanned on a Plustek 35mm scanner, model Optifilm 7600i, 11 years old, using Silverfast vs. 6.6.2.5

Sorry, thats all folks, this program only allows a few !

Nice set Peter, love the tall ships. Thanks for sharing!!
