Just proves my point. Easier to just parrot others who called Obama a liar and an evil man than to actually look at the real words he said. Anyone who actually watches the video of Obama's announcement of the k*****g of Bin Laden should also note that he did NOT name the navy seals as the ones who carried out the raid, because he was trying to protect their identities. He did praise them for their courage though. He didn't fly onto an aircraft carrier and raise his hands and yell, "Mission accomplished!" He gave all the credit to the intelligence gatherers and military who carried out the action.

Maybe you should all actually watch Obama's announcement that night, instead of relying on the lies from politicians and pundits who opposed everything he did. He gave the credit to the military, to the intelligence agencies, and to the men who carried out the raid. He used the pronoun "we" throughout the speech, meaning all of we Americans. Of course, we are living in a time where many people embrace lies rather than the t***h. And I am sure many will not take the 10 minutes to actually watch, but here is the link:

When Obama took the responsibility of ordering the k*****g Bin Laden upon his shoulders, he showed more courage than the draft dodgers in D.C. will ever understand. Watch his original speech. He never was trying to take "credit" for the k*****g, as so many have alleged. He was daring the crazies to come after him for revenge, not the navy seals who were just following orders. He knew they were watching too. Now, I hope everyone will get back to photography, and leave the politics elsewhere.

Be a guest, but take lots of good pictures just in case. A couple I knew trusted the bride's dad to take all the photos, but his camera malfunctioned (film) and they ended up with nothing. Would be a nice gesture to present them with an album full of nice pictures later as a wedding gift. They might refer others to you in the future. Goodwill is a valuable thing.

It's beautiful when you can capture one like this, against a dark background. Very nice!

After searching, I found that this has happened to several people with the April update. There is a way to fix it by editing the registry, but Microsoft is apparently aware of the problem, and will probably fix it with another update. This site has good info:
https://www.windowscentral.com/windows-10-april-2018-update-common-problems-and-fixes#fix_drive_f_problem_windows10_1803
My advice is to wait until Microsoft releases the fix, unless you are comfortable with registry editing. Microsoft also has anarticle describing how to get rid of the message: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/555622/how-to-remove-the-low-disk-space-warning
The Microsoft registry edit seems simple enough.

One thing that we fail to consider is the pictures that are backed up online. Make sure someone knows where everything is and how to access it. Without the account info and password, no one can access stuff if you die, and the companies storing everything aren't going to give the stuff to your relatives freely. Problem has been cropping up when relatives want access to the social media sites of a deceased loved one, and find out that the accounts are locked.

Do you have a DVD drive? That's normally the drive Windows will label "e". You can get that message if you leave a CD or DVD in the drive. Right click on the start button and select Disk Management and see if the unknown drive exists.

I see a couple of posts that mention problems with browser links and logins. I have found that using Google's Chrome browser preserves all of that, even over multiple machines. Your settings are backed up to the cloud, and everything is still there on the browser, even if you wipe the hard drive and do a fresh install. I still use Microsoft's browser for a couple of things, but not very often. So much of the stuff you do on the computer is focused on the internet, so a dependable browser and email are important. Microsoft updates won't affect Chrome or Gmail.

I bought a little RCA tablet with only a 32 GB hard drive, 2 GB memory, and Windows 10 Home. Cost $99 brand new, and works flawlessly. Obviously has limits, but you can't buy an Apple for that. Also put Linux Mint on a thumb drive, and it works great on the little tablet. Hooked it up to a TV with HDMI, and it looks great. People forget how many hardware makers are involved with building Windows computers, not to mention the enormous variety of software programs. That's what causes occasional problems with updates, although I do wish Microsoft would continue to support and update older versions of Windows. XP was terrible when it first came out, but great 6 months later.

Sometimes it's easiest to just go to YouTube and search for instructional videos. I bought an Android phone, so Google was the easiest one for me. It is best to backup to physical media as well, such as a usb hard drive, or thumb drives, or even DVD's. Same with cloud storage. Use more than one, so your eggs aren't all in one basket. Each backup app guides you through the initial steps when you install it.

Just trying to educate the original poster who seemed to believe that a "moved" file may be superior in quality to a "copied" file. They are the same quality. I would still prefer that people use the delete command, just in case they change their mind before the trash bin is emptied. When I use "move" it's to move a file to a different folder on the same hard drive.

No, the incorrect term is "move." The move command is actually a misnomer, because all it does is combine "copy" and "delete" into one action. You can do the exact same thing by simply copying the files to somewhere else, and then deleting the original. It gives you the added protection of being able to restore the file from the Recycle Bin before it is emptied, if you accidentally delete a file that you intended to keep on your computer. Again, the original post was about the desire to "move" files instead of "copy" them. You can't. Data files are copied, not moved. I personally don't use the move command in Windows because I am very careful when I delete anything.
