You can buy that lens from a dealer brand new via ebay for less than £130 with Canon's 12 moth warranty why buy snd hand at that price

Norman. Payment made at 4pm this afternoon. Best wishes Andrew
Hi Norman. As I live in Dorset , travelling for a demo or to meet I think is a little far.If you wanted to travel as far as Gloucester or similiar I could meet you there, or somewhere you know or are thinking of travelling to. However I can transfer £55 into a bank account of your chocsing, all I would need is sort code, full name of account and account number. once you see the transfer made, which if you bank on line you can see within two hours of the the transaction.Or I can pay you by pay pal. You could then post the item to me. i would suggest either special delivery or at least recorded by Royal Mail. The item can then be tracked. I am sure we can sort something out between us. Regards Andrew
hi. would you take £55 for it ? other wise suggest a reasonable price/

Hi Magnetoman. Can't you guess I live in Dorset UK. Yes lots to photograph around here. Stourhead is just on my doorstep, Durdle door and the Juarrassic coast about an hours drive. Whats that white lens your using in your profile pic?
That prehistoric monster is a huge rock just off Poole in Dorset named Durdle Door along what is called the Jurrassic coast
sorry I forgot on a tripod and turn off the is on your lens either lens will do it depends how close/far away from the fire you want to be
Try a couple of trial shots in auto program then on judging what they are like try shooting im manual f11 and try different exposures times using manual and the bulb setting. I use the bulb settings when taking sunsets some times in fading light.
taken in poor fading light using bulb and a gray filter
In the case of your two pics the colour ones work better than the B/w, in my opinion
If he is shooting in "raw" he has to use software to develope his photos and if he is shooting as Jpegs then he is losing lots of detail in his photos
