I understand the lens flare. What I don't understand is the weird artifact at the edges. I was not shooting through a window.

I was attempting to shoot a starburst at a natural bridge when I somehow produced several very strange artifacts. Can anyone tell me what happened?

What happened in England and Australia were isolated incidents. These massacres happen on a regular basis only in the US. Why? Lack of common sense gun laws and lack of enforcement. Every time it happens, Democrats say we need better laws, Republicans say we'll pray for the victims. It's time to get our heads out of the sand and do something besides praying!

The 2nd amendment does not give you the right to possess any imaginable weapon. You can't own a canon, and there are simply certain types of weapons which should only be available to military and police. I'm not talking about hunting rifles and handguns here. In spite of what the gun lobbyists tell you, liberals are not trying to take all of your guns from you.

It seems that most of the participants in this forum believe that Obama, Sharpton and all liberals are 100% responsible for everything that is wrong in this country. If only we had a Republican president, house and senate, everything would be perfect. All news channels should sound exactly like Fox News. All of our problems would disappear and there would be nothing left to whine about!

The real problem in our country is that we have far too many people who simply want to blame either liberals or conservatives for every problem that we have. My state is an extremely conservative and mostly rural state that v**es overwhelmingly Republican in national e******ns. I do not know any liberal rednecks. We are one of the many red states who send far less to the federal government in taxes than we receive back in benefits, unlike liberal states like New York and Illinois. The conservatives in my state love to criticize Obama and liberals as they march to the mailbox to get their checks.
