About a block up the street is a 35-40 foot tree with enough blooms on it to stock the rose parade even though everything else is bare but the rat fink neighbor won't let me in the yard to shoot it
The world is inundated with flaky inhabitants. They must not be happy souls. In spite of your mean neighbor, you got a nice shot of his tree in bloom, oldtigger.
We booked into a cottage in this lovely coastal town which was established in 1891. It is famous for Southern Right Whale watching during the winter and spring June/December when they arrive to have their young. We had regular bird visitors to the cottage for breakfast with seed to put out for them. One morning at 3am I was aware of something on my leg under the sheet and it was a mouse. It scurried off into the living room but was back on the bed 20 minutes later. After chasing it around the cottage for quite some time we eventually got it outside! The next morning opened the door and nearly squashed another visitor. This was the closest I was going to get with the short lens, one quick shot just in case he jumped on the camera! Never a dull moment in Hermanus.

You sure do get around, Sylvia. So glad you share your travels. You do such a splendid job capturing the sights.
Some vacation pictures from my trip to beautiful RMNP last September. We were there when the elk were rutting and the aspen turned golden, great time to be at the park.
Expertly captured beauty, thively! You hit the nail on lighting, composition, and focus.
