If anyone wanted to know how this bird got its name, you certainly provided the answer.
Great shot.
One of my favorite singers. Can't wait for their return this spring. Nice shots. Thanks for sharing.
Let me be the first to say it: They just don't make 'em like they used to.
Nice photos.
Nice shot. Truly enjoyable.
You really nailed the focus, by the way. I can read the information on the dog tag.
It's great that you and your son share a passion. You must have done something right. :)
Nice photos, too.
Yes, definitely a Song Sparrow...a personal favorite among the early spring visitors. If you care to listen to that unique song, here is a terrific site for doing so: https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Song_Sparrow
What a catch!
You and the eagle. :)
Super set.
I love old barns and this is an fabulous group. To me, nothing speaks more to our roots as a nation than an old farmstead and the simple, honest, hardworking lifestyle it represents. (I guess you can tell I'm an old farm boy.)
Thanks for sharing.
Oh, and if I had to choose a favorite I'd say Montana. Wow!
Nice photo. Looks like the kind of place Hemingway would have been right at home in. I love the fishing rod and harness pole over the door. Too bad the antennae couldn't have been tossed aside, but I guess that would have been a bit dishonest in a way. I enjoyed the shot nonetheless.
Terrific shot. Great composition. Perfect lighting. I, too, love old barns and this one's a gem.
Thanks for sharing.
So much for that "red sky at night, sailor's delight" mantra. :)
Beautiful shot.
Great shot. Were it not for the variations in the antlers, one might have concluded you simply added a layer in photoshop. I'd like to see these guys come November...bet they won't be standing like that then. :)
An exceptional structure (and well maintained, I might add) wonderfully captured in both phases. Thanks for sharing.
No. 1 is my favorite but No. 3 is a close runner up. All are beautifully done, however. I love geraniums.
