It sounds like it's perfect and ready for eBay. Don't second-guess yourself.

Thanks. That's what my gut says.

Sounds like a few of you have just compensated for the under exposure. I want to resell the camera but feel not if there is something wrong with it. Though my local pro took it through its paces in P mode and a color card, white and dark backgrounds, checked the histogram and is was perfect.

There is something wrong here. They all used the same exposure. Did they all meter the scene and all came up with the same exposure?
Did the buyer use the recommended setting from the D90?

All I know is that the buyer used the recommended settings from the instructor am the D90 results were much brighter than other students. I spoke with Nikon Tech. $143.00 to $304.00 if there is a problem.

As I upgraded to the D7000, I sold my D90 to off set the cost. (Love my D7000). The buyer started a class and the instructor told her that the D90 did not meter correctly. The set up was universal, with all students at the same aperture, speed, and ISO. Her shots were too light. She said she googled the problem and found several instances of malfunction with the D90. I took the camera back. Went to a very well respected camera store and a local professional photographer. They found nothing wrong with the metering. I think it was user error. I did have to adjust a few times on landscape photos using A priority and changing the EV to -.3 or -.7. Just wanted to know if any of you heard of this or have experienced this. I love this site. Have been using your wise words for over a year. Thank you

You're going to love it. I did exactly the same set up with my D90. We travelled all over the US. Great pictures. Have fun.

Locally know. As "Starfish Point" off Beach #4 north of Kalaloch Lodge is an amazing place to photograph huge starfish tht are orange and red along with lime green sea anemone. It is a ranger led hike at low tide and is an easy, short walk to the beach.

Thanks, Everyone. Lots to think about. I really appreciate the input. Definately think a new monitor is in order. I do not really do any video. I like the Dell but does anyone also suggest their computer tower?

Hi everyone. This is my first post though I have been reading the UHH for about 4 months. I have learned so much and can't wait to get on everyday to check out the new topics. Now I have something that I haven't yet seen brought up. I love photography and have just gotten in to the pp of it all with Lightroom 4 and PSE 11. I am at present working on a Toshiba Satellite A505 lap top but hear I should be doing this on a full blown desktop with a great monitor. I must admit that a larger look at the pix would be nice. Are there any suggestions out there for certain desk tops and monitors? I do mat and frame and show a little. I print at Costco or on my own Epson Artisan 810. Thanks for your help and thanks for all the practical info you give out.

Amazing shot of the Junco and your other shots, as well. Thanks for sharing. Yes, changing your seed should bring a variety to your backyard.

Does anyone have a thought as to which lens is best? I love to shoot nature and landscapes. Do a bit of macro as well. I have a NikonD7000 and want to purchase either a Nikon18- 200mm or Nikon 18-300mm. The reviews of the 18 - 200 are great. But I am thinking I want to pull the animals, etc. in with the 300. Any thoughts out there with the 300mm?
