Splendid shot. I'm always amazed at how inclement weather appears to have no affect on wildlife. Unless I'm misinterpreting the expression, this fine lady couldn't care less. I love the bead of water on the end of her beak. Thanks for sharing.
Nice shots...especially the second. It looks like she is sitting on the rim of the flower.
We have a fairly sizable Amish presence here in upstate New York and almost all of them handle their straw this way. I've never actually seen it done - didn't know a machine was involved - and just figured it was done by hand, as with so much of what they do. They are remarkable farmers; that much is evident.
Wonderful photos.
Nice one. They flit about so much it's hard to get a decent shot. You did well.
You really nailed this one. Lovely composition.
Terrific image. Congrats.
Agreed. I think the white eyebrow eliminates the Redwing as a possible ID
I love a well maintained barn. Of course, you might know the state owns it; most farmers couldn't afford to keep it up like that. :)
Really nice image, though.
One of my favorites as well. Nice photo.
Stunning image. Especially in download.
Looks a bit like a scene from "Game of Thrones." :)
Very interesting. If there's a difference in the quality of the two images, I can't detect it...but my eyes may not be the best. :)
Either way, great photo. Thanks for the tip.
An avian snow angel. Nice!
