I just found out that the Chiefs playoff game tonight will only be available via streaming Peacock. I gotta say that this really makes me mad, as I don't have Peacock and don't even have a way to stream it on my big screen tv even if I did sign up for it. Frankly, I see this as a move toward having to pay to watch all sports and hope they have a very poor response and that others are upset about this as well. It was bad enough that the Thursday night games were restricted, but everyone should get to see the playoff games and they make plenty of money putting them on network TV. Is this really the future of sports on TV?

A few months back we had a Focus Stacking and HDR talk at the club followed by an exercise session. I've shown a few of my trial attempts in previous posts.

But I've been waiting / looking for an opportunity to try out focus stacking in real life, and that opportunity arrived with the recent flooding causung the River Thames to burst it's banks.

For this shot I used three images focused on the foreground, the bollards, and the more distant trees. All three were converted to TIFF before processing in AFFINITY 2 (my mentor Robin Whalley - Lenscraft) says AFFINITY works better this way, but I don't understand why.

I was then able to select certain area's of individual images to remove ghosting etc, before a final sharpen / clarity etc. Interested to hear what you think.
