Hello
Anyone know how a disabled veteran can get a free digital camera of processing software in Florida?

I just donated my time to photograph a luncheon for Veterans at a horse rescue, in NY. I donated all the images for the Vets and for the rescue to use. As a long time photographer it is my way of *paying it forward*
Here is the link to the images on my website.

My friend in Shell, Wy has just started working with this organization, donating his time & location to offer horseback riding to Vets. Both he and his wife are Vets. It is called Saddles in Service. There are several locations.
I thought if there are several people here that want to donate. I can send his address or the main organization for those who want to donate.

If you are interested in donating to Vets. Send me a pm and I will send you my friends address.

I have my first small digital camera, it is a point and shoot. I would be willing to donate.
I am not quite sure what you mean *of processing software*

Are you saying a digital camera and software?

I have been to Iceland 3 times. The first 2 times were photography, the most recent this past August, I was up north and did an Icelandic horseback riding tour.

I will be leading a horseback riding/photography tour next September. PM me if interested.
We will do half day, easy riding on these beautiful horses, then half day touring to a geo thermal area, a lava field that looks like a troll village, whale watching and GeoSea a hot springs infinity pool. We will then fly back to Reykjavik, and do some photography touring to several waterfalls.

Disregarding the odd introduction of your question, you as the human and the photographer are the one making decisions over the 'what' and the 'why' of post processing. If you decided to shoot in RAW, well you also decided you needed to process your images as neither aspect (sharpening nor Noise Reduction) are applied to the RAW output from the camera. That's one reason you'd need to apply these settings.

If you shoot in JPEG, you can modify the sharpening settings in the camera, possibly negating the need for more processing.

Whether JPEG or RAW, you can seek the maximum light reaching the sensor via a slow shutter and / or a wide aperture, seeking to use the lowest ISO possible for the composition. Here again, you -- the human and the photographer -- have 100% control over how the image file is being created. You then can judge how much (or little) effort to apply to the file afterward.
Disregarding the odd introduction of your question... (show quote)

Thanks so much for all your excellent responses to UHH members.

You may wish to try Topaz Denoise AI which does an excellent job of removing noise. I believe a free trial is available, so it would cost you nothing if you weren't happy with the results.

I use DeNoise very often. I have discount codes. PM me if interested.

Thanks, I am interested, can you snap a pic of the back of the package? The reason I ask is because I saw photos of these that have a part that holds the phone on both top and bottom, and I want to make sure I am looking at the same product. If it is I will take it. I will use any payment method you choose. I prefer paypal because it's eay, fast, and I have it set up. Thanks so much!!!!!

Here is the back image.

A small flat rate box is $8.45.
That would be just without the box it came in.

Make it a total of $33.
