My mother-in-law loved her jewelry, so now I have a whole collection from her! The bottom row of broaches I keep thinking I will use to make a memory Christmas tree from her jewelry, but haven't gotten to it yet! I thought I had one necklace made out of safety pins, (remember those??) but I'm not finding it now!
I see you have a photo of Chihully glass. Check out the Seaattle Center for the current exhibit. A few years back he exhibited at the Joslyn in Omaha. Just takes my breath away! I posted a shot of the "Ceiling" yesterday for still life. Dale Chihully also collects Indian Blankets & uses them for inspiration in his art. I'll have to see if I can find my one shot of that on the other "old" computer.

A couple from Missouri.
I play golf with a 85 year old woman who told me she was taught to respect her elders, but it's getting harder to find one.
These are set up in a restaurant called "Barnstormers", at our municipal airport at Norfolk, NE. All decorated with airplane & car stuff including license plates!

A few more "still Life" for today's challenge.
It would be cool to have a set of them gas pumps now
#1 - Display at local Arts Center. This is tar paper cut into strips & glued together into circles and circles glued together to make a "blanket". This was to represent the soil and effect of water soaking through. Exhibit was called "Watered Down".
Heat Wave has broken in Nebraska. A front went thru on Saturday, so was really comfortable for our lakeside fireworks that evening. Now 10:30 on Monday @ 79 Degrees with anticipated high of 85, so relief is on the way to the folks on the east coast!
I missed posting on the Fireworks since our fire display was actually last night. Here is one for that challenge and a couple for the "old cars and trucks" challenge from July 6th.
