Day 193 - Photo A Day Challenge - 7-11-2012

Welcome to Day 193 :) Today it's all about Still Life. As much as I try I really suck at this topic LOL. I have no artistic eye for staging... so I decided to go a different route and post photos of things that are very still. Here are a few examples to get us started.. hope y'all have better luck than I did .. I look forward to seeing what y'all come up with.
it doesn't get more still life than petrified wood lol

Still life found while just walking around and watching my step so as to be sure not to trip over something and fall on my face. Well my face doesn't matter but I have to protect those new knees especially.

p1 Judy, thanks for posting Yale. Have always wondered what it might look like. The Gothic look and so many interesting details.
