The Jordan Bridge in Portsmouth, Virginia. The bridge was closed shortly after but has re-opened I believe. Any of you who know Norfolk-Portsmouth know the importance of bridges and tunnels ;)

A sort of last call after a day of leaf raking. Made a fire and it looked good onthe other side. Tried it out and was much surprised...

That is supposed to be ''Kamouraska''
Great photos, folks. Fond memories also.
Buddy36...been there me too, wasn't it fun tho?
I met up with a fellow who is a self taught amateur photographer, as many of us are, who does only sunsets and along a 60 mile stretch of the south shore of the St. Lawrence River, down in Kamousaska. His conception of composition is awesome and I have learned so much from him. He has made up a DVD, ''Soleil du Jour'' and sold his shots and later opened a place in Kamouraska, a local tourist area not frequented by tourists from away simply because they do not know the region. His shop was just above a small old fishing pier and the view is magnificient. So beautiful it is around there that you could easily empty your battery by shooting all day as the tides and the sun will play with your mind. He did so well that he sold his shop, put on his backpack and along with his girl friend, took off for a walking tour of Europe which is supposing to last two years.
Bridges make super subjects! Thanx for sharing...

I was always taught to eliminate telephone poles and wires but I have learned that they can be a positive for certain shots. I like to have them so as to bring out the degree of a descent from the top of a hill :-) :-) as they depict the real value of a drop.
