A Success Story

I met up with a fellow who is a self taught amateur photographer, as many of us are, who does only sunsets and along a 60 mile stretch of the south shore of the St. Lawrence River, down in Kamousaska. His conception of composition is awesome and I have learned so much from him. He has made up a DVD, ''Soleil du Jour'' and sold his shots and later opened a place in Kamouraska, a local tourist area not frequented by tourists from away simply because they do not know the region. His shop was just above a small old fishing pier and the view is magnificient. So beautiful it is around there that you could easily empty your battery by shooting all day as the tides and the sun will play with your mind. He did so well that he sold his shop, put on his backpack and along with his girl friend, took off for a walking tour of Europe which is supposing to last two years.

Now that's making the dream come true, I am envious.
Good luck to them on their journey.

I see you have an Airedale Terrier. My condolences. I have one that is almost 13 years old, and she didn't even start to calm down until she was 9. They told me when I got her that the breed is mischievous. What they didn't tell me is that the breed are the devil's spawn. This dog has ruined every door in the house. If you went into a room and closed the door, even if she wasn't with you, she would immediately run up and start aggressively pawing at the door, scratching the paint and marking up the wood. When she was younger, she could run as fast as s greyhound. And that's a good thing too, because if I caught her she would be dead now. LOL
She may not be the last dog that I own, but she will be my first and last Airedale.
