I did not take the first three photos since I was a little busy at the time. (Blue helmet and red life vest) The fourth shows my canoe at a quiet camp spot on the Middle Fork Of the Salmon, My favorite river. The last shows a raft entering Crystal Rapid on the Grand Canyon. If the camera was a little shaky, it is because I knew that I had to take my raft through next.

I suspect you are right about the choice being more out of habit than for any other reason. After moving the flower more to the left and changing the aspect ratio to have more veticality I like it better. Thanks again for your insight.

Thanks Rick. I tried it with a square crop, but found that I preferred Stan's suggestion for a vertical crop of #1.

Thank you Linda for your thoughts. You always seem to have good ideas. I am not sure, however, what you mean by centering in a rectangular aspect. It that the same as Stan's suggestion to change the aspect ratio to a vertical?
