I never put any fluids on my sensors, i use air and a anti static dust brush like i used to clean dust off of negs before printing. The brush should be large enough to swipe sensor in 1 pass. Ive been using this technique since my 1st digital camera about 15 yrs ago, maybe longer, not sure of date. It has always worked extremly well.

When I fell down the stairs a year ago and broke my neck, we didn't have to put the Shepherd away because I socialized her to accept everybody. Anyway, the medics putting me on a stretcher with a brace were helpful, not threatening.

I never wanted to train my Shepherds for attack work because I didn't want to have to worry about guests or children visiting.

My dog was never trained to attack, its his love for me that makes him so over protective.

I assume you're familiar with the never-ending argument about pit bulls, both pro and con. Frankly, there are enough documented cases of well bred, trained, not abused pit bulls suddenly turning on family members and doing real damage to the point of death, that I, personally, would not be willing to risk it. But I'm sure you know what you're doing. I grew up in the Bronx and those dogs are real deterrents.

Ive owned Pitts for over 20 yrs, they are the most intellegent best behaved, loveable dogs who live with with the worst rap of any dog. Ive never heard of a Pitt attacking its owner, they are too loyal for that. Pitts , even trained to fight, can be separated in the ring without fear of the dog biting. Pitts are either dog dangerous or ppl dangerous and which ever you own its up to you to socialize them and teach them like any other dog to behave. Today they have become great social pets wiyh no reason to fear them. Mike is far more dangerous than any Pitt i ever owned, he is woderful with anything on 4 legs, but ppl beware. His defense is brought about by his love for me. He can sense fear and bad ppl and allows no one near me.

A Bandog is a type of dog (Bulldog/Mastiff) not a breed. I assume you have your three intimidating dogs trained to attack on command and release on command? Did the Pitt grab the attacker's arm; how did she get the knife?

Heres Mike, better than any gun!

Really quite amazing, she sensed something wrong, he had the knife behind his back, she leaped and grabbed his arm forcing him to drop it. He was a large man and when i saw the knife it scared the hell out of me, i was really worried cause if he got passed her my male would have ripped him apart.

Welcome to UHH.

Politics discussions are supposed go to the Chit Chat section or the Attic section of the site. People well know the rules, but they continue to push the boundaries and they try to find creative ways to inject politics into everything.

I hope you will stay.

Mike

I dont think politics has anything to do with, we are discussing a gentlemens fears and they are waranted. I lived in the Bronx, cant get much worse than the parks there. I am 77 going on 78 and a fall last year has crippled me, but i still take walks in the park wiyh my Leicas, which are quite valuable. I have been confronted twice, i think i mentioned my female Pitt took a 12" kitchen knife from a would be attacker and a month before a group of blacks approached me looking for a match, heard that before, this time i was walking my Ridgeback, she weighed about 125. When she heard them, she was on otherside of a barricade, she leaped over and confronted them, 5 in all, turned tale and ran for their lives. These boys were caught doing home invasions in the area. I always feel safe with my dogs. My Bandogg being the most protevtive, breed for that, he doesnt let any unknown get within 3 ft of me. Id rather explain a dog bite than a kill. I too was in Nam, Military Police, did my share of killing but havent used my 1911 since i came home. My shooting skills were deemed expert by the military, my training came from a retired OSS armaments expert, he taught me too shoot down the barrel, no sights and center of vision with a pistol, still rather have my dogs.

Fake News.
Most all deaths by owners hand guns shooting the owner are suicides not a criminal taking it and turning it on the owner. Second place are accidents due to stupidity, still more than a criminal taking the gun and turning it on the owner.

Maybe so but their have been incidents of gun owners being shot with their own guns!
Why be one!
