You had better hope not. Bernie will need any excess money you have to pay for his socialist programs and you won't be able to tell anything if Hillary wins because she'll be spouting nothing but lies.

Sometimes Seniors Don't Understand Directions.

I assume we are all Seniors ....This is why you (a Senior?) should listen to your Doctors instructions.

I went to my nearby CVS Pharmacy, straight to the back, where the Pharmacists’ high counter is located.

I took out my little brown bottle, along with a teaspoon, and set them up on the counter.

The Pharmacist came over, smiled, and asked if he could help me.

I said, "Yes! Could you please taste this for me?"

Seeing a senior citizen, the Pharmacist went along.

He took the spoon, put a tiny bit of the liquid on it, put it on his tongue and swilled it around.

Then, with a stomach-churning look on his face, he spat it out on the floor and began coughing.

When he finally was finished, I looked him right in the eye and asked, “Now, does that taste sweet to you?"

The Pharmacist, shaking his head back and forth with a venomous look in his eyes yelled, “HELL NO!!!"

I said, "Oh, thank God! That's a real relief! My doctor told me to have a Pharmacist test my urine for sugar!"

I can never go back to that CVS, but I really don't care, because they aren't very friendly there anymore!

While I sympathize with folks that have a weight problem (I have one) having Oprah being a spooks person for Weight Watchers is certainly a joke. Her loss of 24 lbs. is great but she has a habit like so many people of loosing weight but then putting it back on as soon as they get off the diet. Also, I would bet it's not just the diet but she has the resources to pay for a personal trainer and probably a chef that most of us can't afford. Her touting anything about her weight loss in my opinion is the height of hypocrisy. Let's see if she falls off the so to speak band wagon again after a year or so? Like Hillary, why should we believe her now?

In Nam if we had to haul someone we didn't like I would make them sit in the jump seats. That way when I made a sharp turn they would be sitting in that seat staring straight at the ground. I use to love doing that to some of the upper brass.

Three yrs in the Army, 18 mo of it in 'Nam, and I never rode in a chopper. Been a skydiver since '88 and have never rode in a chopper. Finally, in Oct of 2014, during vacation on Oahu I went for a helicopter ride. An MD500. Liked it so much I went back 2 days later and did it again. They were doors-off flights. You could swivel around in your seat and hang part way out to get some good shots. Especially when the pilot did steep banks, which he would if everyone was OK with it. At those times you were looking straight down. Lot of fun! Couldn't talk my wife into going though!

Boy back in 1964-65 Phan Thiet was nothing more than a bldg. that house about 50 personnel and a nookbalm factory. I spent a month or so flying a Huey supporting them.

Bring back any memories? Phan Thiet, 1969. A scan of one of the many slides I shot back then.

THE GOOD NAPKINS

This is too good to not share. I think we are the last generation to know what 'napkins' are. THE GOOD NAPKINS ... Ahhhhh

The joys of having Girls. My mother taught me to read when I was four years old (her first mistake). One day, I was in the bathroom and noticed one of the cabinet doors was ajar. I read the box in the cabinet. I then asked my mother why she was keeping ''napkins' in the bathroom. Didn't they belong in the kitchen?

Not wanting to burden me with unnecessary facts, she told me that those were for 'special occasions' (her second mistake).

Now fast forward a few months...It's Thanksgiving Day, and my folks are leaving to pick up my uncle and his wife for dinner. Mom had assignments for all of us while they were gone. Mine was to set the table (her third mistake).

When they returned, my uncle came in first and immediately burst into laughter. Next came his wife, who gasped, then, began giggling. Next came my father, who roared with laughter. Then came Mom, who almost died of embarrassment when she saw each place setting on the table with a 'special occasion' Kotex napkin at each plate, with the fork carefully arranged on top. I had even tucked the little tail in so they didn't hang off the edge!!

My mother asked me why I used these and, of course, my response sent the other adults into further fits of laughter. 'But, Mom, you said they were for special occasions!!!'

Pass this on to your girlfriends who need a good laugh or anyone who has a daughter!

Life is too short for drama & petty things, so kiss slowly, laugh insanely, love truly and forgive quickly, and for heaven’s sake, use the good napkins whenever you can.

First time I saw a flock go straight up like a helicopter, clear some trees that were about 25 foot high and then off in a flight over them I couldn't believe it. Hard to believe a bird that size can fly that well.

Don't know anything about the FZ200 but the Canon SX50 is a really good camera. When I bought mine I gave a lot more than $165 and would do it again.
