They supported my 5D for about 10 years (well after future generations had been released). In fact, several weeks after they had officially discontinued support for the camera, I called them and was told to send it in anyway because they still had parts for the camera and would continue to support it so long as that was the case. Wouldn't hurt to actually call Canon and ask.
