We recently inherited this cat called Esther from a neighbour who could no longer cope. To us she does resemble a Maine Coon - she loves to be outside and even ventures out in heavy rain and comes back soaked but does not seem to mind.
She is very lovable and loves to play - but, of course, on her own terms.

Welcome any comments as to whether she is a Maine Coon.

Thanks

Bill

Cute little critter.
Nice captures. Even though I'm not really a cat person.

Just a precaution. Becareful of Aluminum Foil. Cats love to play with it but it can do havoc to their insides.

Happy Meowing, uh, I mean,
Happy Shooting!

You are adopting a very beautiful cat Bill, and I am sure she knows it.

She sure looks to have a lot of Maine Coon in her, but I suspect she is a bit of a hybrid. She has a lot of the coloring of a tabby or a tortie, But she is mostly Maine Coon. In any event she has a beautiful Tuxedo chest and is a gorgeous whatever she is. Enjoy her.

Looks like a Maine Coon cat to me - but I am no expert.
Remember -thousands of years ago the ancient Egyptians worshipped cats and the cats have not forgotten!

Nicely done, Bill. Though I have no love of cats your photos are very well done.

She is beautiful Bill, you can get many different colours and mixes in Maine Coon cats. She looks like one to me.

She has put on some weight since we adopted her but has a great personality and is a strong and independent character - a typical cat lol!

The first photo where she is looking upwards was taken before we adopted her and she looked so like a Maine - but we love all cats and she is a treasure.
