Hey, hey, hey it’s time for a summer break. But first there is one more Free Sunday to tend to so let’s get it started and make room for summer challenges to start.
I had to try some shots with my Sony Alpha 99 with the long lens in the kitchen with a high ISO, small aperture, and very short shutter speed. It involved some thought about taking a break.
I guess I can join in on this.
All of these were shot with Canon 80D
Take a look at the Neewer gimble. It is around $100 and does the job.
Your long walk was worth it if this is the shot you got. Awesome
I intended to include this images in an iPhone discussion. they were taken with an iPhone X with a clip on macro lens. Although I do have a camera app that gives more control these were taken with the one that comes with the phone. And yes, I do sometimes use my iPhone to talk to people on the phone.
Hello, I hail from the Puget Sound area. My photography started when I was in JRHS with my father's Brownie that he had in Korea and my mother's Kodak 126 folder. I graduated to polaroid (Ansel Adams did better than me) and eventually to 35mm. I have used Canon, Olympus, and Kodak in 35mm. I graduated to Kodak digital in 1997 for an adoption trip to China. Then in 2006 I moved into Canon digital and now have the 80D. I like wildlife, macro, flowers, and candid photography. For lenses I have the 18-135 nano, 100 L macro, 150-600 tele, and extension tubes with a 50mm reversed. I also use my iPhone with and without clip on macro lens. I push limits with shooting into the extremely high ISO range due to lack of light. I also do some photo stacking and experiment with some software. However, my personal preference is to try to get the composition and exposure right in the camera; a carryover from film days.
I do have the canon app on mine but don't use it much. I just forget it is there. There is an app called pro camera that is pretty good. It gives more versatility to the camera in the phone. I got some clip on lenses for the camera and have had a lot of fun with them. Mainly the macro lens. The dragon fly was not using one of those lenses. Of course the images that I am looking for are on the other computer. But you can get some really nice images with the iPhone.
I use the weather app all the time.
Google maps is good.
Pandora gets some use when I am driving or in the workshop.
