This was a little project inspired by David Crowder's song "Red Letters". Then prompted by our Pastor's announcement that he was doing a series on "I am".
Great idea and very good and thoughtful of you to care for these lovely little birds.

We had the first real snow here in the Seattle area last night, continuing this morning. I hang electric boot heaters under the feeder when the temperature drops, and the Hummingbirds are hanging around more than usual today! Just a snapshot for those who enjoy supporting Hummingbirds through the winter.
Bruce in Texas here; Lovely pictures indeed. Your self portrait is beautiful, love your hair color. I worked in health care for 20 years so I know a little about it. Your pictures are very well done. Most sincerely. b
Are use the notebook or notepad to write down the settings of each shot also are used a little pocket voice recorder cell phones have that feature now so I could make verbal notes of each shot trick was after the film was developed knowing which shot was number 123 or four that I had made notes on so it was a little tricky but that’s how I had to work with but it work for me
Nice diagram thank you for sharing that. I like Fuji XT20 or T3 systems. When I jump from my D200 , Fuji’s layout reminds me of the film slr’s which I am more familiar with. The Fuji will probably be my next and last move. Bruce in Texas.

I found a very nice graphic comparing the guts of the DSLR to the Mirrorless MILC.

Bruce, I have (2) D200's and it works great. If you have looked at any of the pictures I have posted in the past, odds are tha's the lens I used. It has been my go to for quite a while.
Dan, Thank you for the reply I have an 8o-300mm Lens That was used on my old film camera it was a Nikon N80 And works well on my D200 And I don’t know if it crops up one and a half times giving me the equivalent of 450. The 400 you’re offering looks like a much better lens and may give me more reach I could use this at airshows in just for general use. The D 200 is my first DSLR and I’ve been very happy with it it is my learning to off after breaking away from point’n shoots in that kind of stuff. This looks like a super good lens and I think that would really help me. I live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in North Texas and I’m not too far away from you . The D 200 do you like yours apparently so you have two of them I’ve been real happy with mine I bought it used of course this past November a year ago. Thank you for the reply yes I’m interested in the lens just let me know what you need me to do. I’m going to be in and out of the house a couple of times today I have a leg injury that I have got to go to the doctor about this afternoon but I’ll look forward to hearing from you and I hope you still have it it looks like a really good by for a really good Lens. Thank you again. Bruce
